About

Scott Travis was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After college, he moved to Southern California to pursue a career in entertainment finance, working for more than 12 years with various production companies and major movie studios.

After leaving the entertainment industry, Scott took a bold turn in a completely new direction. He is now the owner of CBT Candle Los Angeles, a brand he built around the philosophy of “igniting the light in our souls.” Celebrating over 10 years in business, CBT Candle LA is known for its original, all-natural soy candles, colognes, unisex fragrances, private labeling, event styling, and celebrity branding. Scott personally creates the company’s signature scents, as well as custom fragrances for its celebrity clientele.

Beyond entertainment, Scott is deeply committed to animal rescue. Since 2019, he has been a partner in CCAR Animal Rescue, dedicating his free time to saving animals who cannot speak for themselves. His favorite saying is, “If humans would listen to our animals and learn what unconditional truly means, this world would be a better place.”

Scott lives in Los Angeles with his two girls, Shelby and Samantha (Sammie), and his three boys, Buddy, Frankie, and BoBo. His 5 dogs are truly the loves of his life.

Scott wrote, directed, produced, and starred in "Mother Doesn’t Know Best," scheduled for release in 2026. His most recent film, "love is just love," starring Eric Betts and Scott himself, opened to a sold-out audience at the Palm Springs Cinema Diverse International Film Festival. He has also acted in over 75 vertical films—often called the wave of the future—and his pilot "Maxwell Hills" is set to begin filming in Spring 2026.

His fragrance portfolio includes Proteus by Michael Vaccaro, Trials & Tribulations (TnT), One Hunt, and Gatti, all available on Etsy and gaining worldwide attention. Scott also produced and directed the commercials for his fragrance lines.

Despite his success in the fragrance world, the entertainment industry never truly let him go—it’s in his blood. Scott now produces and directs through his production company, Travis Hunt Productions. His credits include appearing on the reality show "Radical Dating" and a role in "Child of the 70’s," starring Michael Vaccaro. He created and produced the television series "Aunt Cissy," starring Kathy Garver of "Family Affair" fame, which is currently in post-production.
